(2) SOMESHA Green Journalism Award Winers on 2020 and 2021 announced

Since the Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA) Green Journalism Awards inception in 2014, it was honored professional journalists for distinguished reporting on the sciences topics and civic issues.

On 2020 SOMESHA Green Journalism Award winner was by SNTV Jubaland regional state correspondent and member of SOMESHA Adan Mohamed Salaad better known as “Adan Kismayo” and he will be awarding soon.

On 2021 SOMESHA Green Journalism Award winner was the privately owned Goobjog radio and Tv station journalist and chief editor  Mr. Hanad Ali Gulled and member of SOMESHA and he will be awarding soon.

Mr. Hanad Ali Guled survives beating, knife attack by unidentified assailants within 2021 when after SOMESHA independent committee agreed to reward him her Green Journalism Award which is annual press rewarding honorable certificate and goodwill pledges as well. Hanad is also a dynamic member of the Somali Journalists Syndicate (SJS).


(3) SOMESHA 2019 Green Journalism Award Winner appointment

The Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA) thrilled to publicly disseminate the announcement of her 2019 Green Journalism Award launch in which is annual media and journalists honor by means of the nation’s quality journalism maintenance.

This year 2019 is sets to give a Somaliland female journalist Warda Ahmed Roble better known as “WardaSagal” due to her courageous and dynamic achievement in across Somaliland territorial zone for the social science issues reporting in particularly the health, nutrition and humanitarian coverage.

SOMESHA 2018 Green Journalism Award Winner appointment

Mogadishu: The Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMSHA) thrilled to publicly disseminate the announcement of her 2018 Green Journalism Award launch in which is annual media and journalists honor by means of the nation’s quality journalism maintenance.

The Secretary General of the Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMSHA) H. E. Mr. Daud Abdi Daud issued today this announcement news release legitimately but the event ceremony is scheduled on Thursday May 3, 2018 due to the World Press Freedom Day. (5) Award for Excellence in Somalia Science, Agriculture and Cultural issues Reporting

Since the Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA) Green Journalism Awards inception in 2015, it was honored professional journalists for distinguished reporting on the sciences topics and civic issues.

On 2016 SOMESHA Green Journalism Award winner was by the Mogadishu radio station director of Star FM Mr. Ismail Sheikh Khalifa and he will be awarding during a Somali Youth Workshop for Peace event at Afrik hotel in Mogadishu by the Horn of Africa director of the United Religions Initiative (URI) on August 24, 2017.

It is widely, a long time ongoing project in which is a system to guarantee direct journalists Awards once after a year by enlarging their moral and quality journalism. This year 2017 is given to Mr. Abdirahman Noor Ali who is a professional journalist reporting Science topics and peace issues nationwide.

SOMESHA shortlisted twenty (20) local Somali journalists including a group of exile Somali journalists by a Science, Agricultural, culture and religion reporting and good media practice award due to its third ever on 2017  and 2016 and honored two of the twenty were shortlisted.

The Somali Media for Environment, Science, Health and Agriculture (SOMESHA) makes sure to set up a long time ongoing project in which is a system to guarantee direct journalists Awards annually by enlarging their moral and quality journalism.
