Scientific Research and Declaration on Environmental Health and Damages Eradication

Dear colleague/Friends and partners,

I would like to invite you to sign ( www.someshaa.org ) the 2023 Scientific Research and Declaration on Environmental health in general and Damages Eradication. The declaration – signed so far by over 1,200 students, youth and leading scientists, clinicians and public health experts from more than 70 institutions – will send a powerful message about the urgent need to end Environmental health problems in across Somalia.

For your information, climate change has become one of the major global challenges of late the last 21 century and this 22 new century with its adverse impact mostly affecting developing nations including Somalia. However, the danger of the climate change is not only multidimensional, but its effects also transcend national borders affecting the ecology that sustains livelihoods. For Somalia to experience unsustainable and healthyless socio-economic development, there is a need for adequate and sustainable resources, infrastructure and total social mindsets recovery.
